She is lovely girl, very beautiful, nice, gentle. I think she loves me too, and we want to have a baby together. But sometimes I think I am too old, 55 for third child. Also I'm worrying that I will not live so long to see how my kid is growing up, and be there for him when it needs me. Can you give me your opinion please.
Be happy-content while you can, specially @55 is getting up there... 8-)
I may not be the one to give advise. I do care for a person half my age. I'm 61 and she is now 31. I do not necessarily want marriage, but friendship. Sometimes you may meet a person that something inside you, gives you a undesribable feeling. If you two are really in love, don't let that stop you. but remember if you two have kids, will you be around to dance at there gradution or wedding.
As for me, if my dream friendship would come true for even one minute before I die, I will be happy.
But good luck with a very tough descision. But will your kids call you dad or grandpa.

to solve that , don't have kids.
You do have a good point, but I don't have any kids.
You say she's Thai...are you Thai also, or are you from some other country?
Thirty years is a pretty big age difference but really, age is just a number.
Men become fathers at any age. I think you need to take stock of your health and how likely you are to be around until at least your child would finish college at age 22 or so. Having a parent die while you're in high school or college can really mess you up emotionally and affect your ability to be successful in school. :-( I had a friend who lost both parents during his college years, he had to drop out. (they were in their late 50s and both died of cancer.) OTOH losing a father may not be as awful as you might think if there are plenty of other relatives around to help with raising the kid after you're gone.

That is a great idea!
YES AND YES, YOUR 55 WHEN YOU GET 80 MOST PEOPLE NOW LIVE PASS THAT YEAR, YOUR CHILD WILL BE AND ADULT, YOUR (SON) WILL BE AT THE AGE WHERE HE IS ALL READY SET IN HIS LIFE , OR IF YOU LIVE LONGER, EVEN BETTER, I BELIEVE YOUR CHILD WILL KEEP YOU YOUNG I THINK YOU SHOULD GO FOR IT.
I once knew a guy who fatherd a child in his 60's and lived to raise the child
Lucky bastard!
It is almost inconceivable that you can be enough for her. Highly unlikely.
Think of her...of HER needs...be honest. Love her, let her find someone else, support THEM. There is someone else for you.
She expects a father figure in you, act like one.
Life can be brutal, I don't mean to be.
I wish you the best. If she marries you, you owe her EVERYTHING.
